About North Country Glass

Alex Kalish began blowing glass in 1986 and Trish Dalto in 1989. They met as students at Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire. After graduating  in 1991, Alex and Trish starting out working for another glassblower. It was there that they began producing and selling their own designs. In 1995 it was decided that their own studio was needed to have the freedom to expand and the luxury of working at home. On January 1, 1996 Alex and Trish completed building their own glassblowing studio.

Since that time, North Country Glass has sold pieces to galleries locally and across the country. They are juried members of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen. Some of their designs are their own personal style and others are a collaboration between the two artists. Alex and Trish produce a wide range of decorative and functional glass.
